I was stupid enough to change lenses in a blizzard while photographing in northern Norway. A mirrorless camera’s sensor is exposed to elements. The blizzard is not what you experience in let’s say Minnesota, it’s a horizontal ice pellets and I did not want to miss the scene so I changed lens. As soon as I took it off I knew what a mistake it was.Long story short I ended up with 2500 photos full of sensor dots. This product was so amazing that it cleared it with one pass of the swab and this liquid.Highly recommended for any

Didn’t work well at all. Tried several swabs. Had to send my cameras to Nikon for sensor cleaning.

This worked pretty good on the camera.I have some blurry spots on my eyes so I gave them a shot since they are like sensors. This solution is NOT for eyes. It hurts like a bitch and I've learned it wont clear up the blurry spots. If anything it's made them worse.

I went through six ultra swabs and still have streaks on my d750 sensor before figuring out how to do it right and cleaned my sensor spotless with one swab. What I did was going online to the manufacturer website to read the detail instructions. Basically I applied too little solution on the ultra swab (only 2-3 drops) which causes light streaks across the sensor. So for ultra swabs which are more absorbent, you need 6-8 drops of the solution and good pressure (bending the swab handle) while cleaning to get your sensor spotless!!

Short, accurate, to the point:- Works well- Old and trustworthy - been around for years because it is always dependable.- May necessitate multiple cleanings depending upon how dirty the sensor is- Take time to read tutorials, view videos, and follow instructions on how to use. Be careful.

In the past I brought my D3s to Nikon to get the sensor cleaned. It cost $40.00 and they did a pretty good job and fast.I decided that every time I get spots & dust-- I can't bring it in to Nikon, and that I would use the sensor swab & Eclipse to do it myself. I was successful at cleaning the sensor. It took me 5 swabs to clean all the spots. It is a very tight fit, but next time I need to do it I believe I will be better at it and need to use less swabs. For me I found it easier to use the swab in a vertical direction rather than the videos where I see it being done horizontally. I turned the camera in the portrait position and made my cleaning pass up and down, gave me better results.

This is the second time I have used this product to clean my camera sensors and the first time using the Type 3 on a D700. This product does work and is safe to use on the camera when used as described. I have been using my D700 for 2-years (+1000 images/month) and it was in need of a serious sensor cleaning.I did check out the online instructions Photographic Solutions has prior to cleaning my sensor to make sure I was doing it right. This is one of those tasks where, if you do not clean your cameras frequently then be sure to read (or view) the instructions first.I went with the 12-pack because I knew I would most likely use more than one swab. Following the instructions of taking test images (white background at f22 settings) the entire cleaning process required three swabs and took about 90 minutes from start to finish. I took my time on the setup and cleaning steps which most likely doubled the cleaning time.My camera sensors are clean once again. This is the only sensor cleaning product I've used and will continue to use.
