I got these in the taro flavor as a Christmas present and actually love it! The packaging is adorable especially because it feels like a little kit to construct with all of the ingredients. I swapped out the sugar packet for a few packets of stevia to cut calories and I really love the flavor. The little square boba things are a great perk and it’s just a very warming winter drink all around. The only comment I have is I wish I knew the caffeine count for the tea.Definitely a great gift or buy.

What this is:This is 6 cup containers of milk tea. It comes with the milk powder, cup, straw, nata de coco and sugar pack.To make:These are super easy to make. I open the cup and take out the many different bags. I pour in 5 ounces of almost boiling water. I added all the milk powder first, followed by the other packets. I used them all entirely. I added the liquid from the nata de coco also.To taste:I called in my two adult daughters to try these out with me. One made theirs cold. The other made theirs hot. I enjoyed the flavor of the drink. One daughter thought it tasted like restaurant Boba. The other daughter enjoyed the flavor a lot, the ease of making. Both wanted to know what the price was. At the time, the price was not listed. At the time I am writing this review it sells for under $2.65 per cup. My daughters told me they can pay between 5 to 7 dollars per cup of milk tea/boba.I tasted these both hot and cold. I prefer the hot better. To me, this is the tea version of the powdered cappuccino drinks I loved when I was younger, and my kids loved growing up.The flavor is slightly more milky and sweet with less of a strong tea flavor. I think I would definitely adjust the sugar level. In making it cold, I simply poured the 5 ounces over ice. I think next time, I would cut down of the 5 ounces of hot water to compensate for the ice. It tasted good but a little watery because of all of the ice.5 stars:This was a new flavor for me. My kids tell me about these all of the time. I never tried them. I enjoyed tasting them. They enjoyed tasting them. They both said they would definitely buy them again. A quick fix to finding them out and about in an area that isn't known for milk tea/boba.

This is so cool AND convenient. I've had prepared drinks before but never ones that literally come with the cup! That's what mainly set these aside from other similar products in my opinion!I'm going to start out by saying, no, this probably isn't very healthy. However, we all need to treat ourselves from time to time, right? This is my treat. I don't really like coffee all that much but I do like tea. I've never had it with milk until now! The flavor is very hard to describe. It's definitely an ethnic flavor. To me, all three are kind of reminiscent of a chai tea but without the spice. This would make sense as they are made with black tea. The flavors (taro/wheat) sound kind of weird (I'm American and we don't have these flavors normally), but they actually are tasty. Something different from the norm for a change.Anyway, these are just so fun to make. All of the ingredients (aside from water) are inside the cup. You just open and dump them all in & add 5 oz. of hot water (for a hot drink). Mix it up and it's ready to go. I haven't made them iced yet, but when made hot, they don't fill the entire cup. It's more like ⅔ full. Perfect amount for me but when you see the cups, don't assume that one recipe will fill your cup to the brim. All that being said, I actually enjoyed this product more than initially thought! It's not something I would drink super regularly but it is nice as a treat on a cool day! Getting the authentic ethnic flavor here in the states is also nice! Enjoy! :)

☕ PACKAGING: 6 to go cups, each with a lid, tea packet, sugar packet, coconut jelly packet and disposable straw.☕ PREPARATION: At first it looked a little overwhelming. We dumped out our cups and there was all this stuff in it. We read the instructions and they were simple enough. I had some taro boba (WuFuYuan Boba Balls) on hand so I made that as well. For hot milk tea - just add 5 oz of hot water to the tea packet. Add the sugar and coconut jelly and enjoy. For cold tea - it's 2 oz of hot water, stir well, then 3 oz of ice or chilled water. For my cold tea, I added 2 oz of almond milk and ice cubes. Daughter drank it with hot water. Then we added some taro boba and the included coconut jelly. Neither of us wanted the sugar packet.☕ FLAVOR: Delicious hot or cold. The little coconut squares added a fun texture (as did the boba we added) and the coconut complimented the taro nicely. The milk was sweet and creamy. I find almond milk makes it even more creamy but is not needed.☕ CONVENIENCE: The cups with everything needed are nice and preparation was a breeze. It was fun customizing our own drinks. We do have a milk tea shop nearby but I like these better bc they are the perfect size (milk shop tea is too big and leaves me feeling bloated or bad for having to throw some out).☕ OVERALL: We enjoyed these a lot more than I thought we were. They are delicious and satisfying.☕ SUGGESTION TO SENPURE: We're reducing the number of single use items and plastic that we consume. It would be nice if the milk tea powder came in a canister that we could measure out into our own reusable cups. We also have reusable straws. I will only buy these cups rarely as a treat but I would buy a canister of the tea mix more often if it were available in that format.

I had one of these in my trip to China when I was 10 (in 2011) and it was the highlight of my trip - not even joking. In this 11 years I couldn't stop thinking about them. Finally I saw them on Amazon an I HAD to buy them. Today I'm writing this as I'm drinking the first one in more than 10 years and OMG it is just as good as I remembered. Worth the 17$? YES. Not only that, but I also ordered the strawberry (even better taste) AND it was worth the almost 40$. I just hope the dozen I bought last forever

Unfortunately it's just bland. The concept of the instant cup is cool, but the Taro flavor was bad.
