Second one of these I've purchased(different cars) does what it is designed for and fits perfectly on the Subaru 2.5 motor.

Bought this to swap out the stock oil gallery plug on my Forester. I have a oil pressure gauge remotely mounted and it works better to have a 1/8 NPT gallery plug so the tee and fittings clear the 130 amp alternator. Kinda hard to see in the pic but it worked perfectly. The only change I made was to use a stock Subaru aluminum washer instead of the copper one this came with. Not sure it mattered though.
