Our 5 year old loves this sensory ball! We have several mats in various shapes that are similar in concept but this was our first time seeing a ball! It's very nice that the silicone strings can store inside the ball. It opens easily but it designed well so it doesn't open unintentionally. Our son has played with it every day for 30 minutes+ since we got it. He liked the suggestions from the box on different ways to play with it. This is a great sensory toy encouraging creativity, hand eye coordination, gripping, pinching, and finger strength. I highly recommend this sensory ball. Even adults find it fascinating.

I have reviewed this toy on three separate occasions and am unclear as to why my reviews have not been published. I purchased the toy to engage my five-year-old daughter during our lengthy road trip from Florida to Virginia.During use, she encountered significant difficulty in opening the ball to access the silicone ropes, often passing it to me in the front seat for assistance.The product description states that it includes twenty silicone ropes; however, our package only contained sixteen, which was a notable discrepancy.On the positive side, the toy demonstrates a strong level of durability and is constructed from materials that are simple to clean, which is advantageous for maintenance purposes.Despite my expectations that this toy would sustain her interest over an extended period, it ultimately failed to capture her attention, and its use has diminished since our return home. It's possible that she's too young for it. If it interests my other grandchildren in Florida, I will likely give it to them.

This is a large sensory ball that spilts in the middle and is screws together. The silicone strips can be stored inside the ball. My kids found this calming and entertaining. Its easy to use although it may be too large for kids under 5.

Both my ND (6 years old) and NT (4 years old) kids loved this. It's great that it splits in half so they can share it without having to fight over it. Good for keeping them busy at the table while I cook.
