I purchased this to lock my gates cause I have a pool. They are lightweight but durable. I am pleased with them and do recommend them

My son plays football and he needs to bring his gear to school every day. A good quality lock is important so his backpack and shoes don't go missing. This lock is easy to set and easy for him to open and then secure his items.

Purchase these locks to replace my combination lock that I use at the gym, setting my own personal 4 digit code was simple and now accessing the locker is easier. Lock casing feels like it’s made from plastic so I wouldn’t use this to secure high dollar items but for a gym locker this is a great lock

I was surprised at how light weight these locks are. The shell is plastic. I have no idea what is inside. They work well and it was very easy to change the combination. The wheels are shiny chrome, which I do not like on locks such as this because they can be hard to read with certain lighting conditions. I prefer brass, or less reflective wheels.I treat all locks like this as a deterrent for an opportunistic thief or curious kids. A dedicated thief will have cut it with bolt cutters in seconds. Due to this I am not all that worried about its strength compared to other locks.The price seems a bit high when compared to name brand locks.

OK I just received 2 of these locks today with the shorter shackle and overall I like them more than most combimatiom locks because I like how when the lock is unlocked the numbers will actually spin if you want them too so if you have a gate open or shipping container open for example if you have somebody around you potentially that might be a friend or acquaintance or even strangers but you don't necessarily want them to know your combination to your lock and know your accurate combination so they can't access your property potentially when you're not there it won't be stuck at what you set and frozen at your accurate lock combination when the lock is opened like most of these combination locks sadly because you can actually spin the numbers when your lock is opened which I strongly prefer so people won't see your accurate set combination and I also like that you don't have to have your correct combination set to actually close the lock as well as open it both like a lot of locks so I really like that aspect of this lock as well and the way you set the combination to what you want is pretty interesting and seems to work great and is super easy and when you change it to what you want and close the lock the little slide thing that you move up to set your combination that shows the little painted red square will automatically go down once you close and lock your lock hising the red part which is pretty interesting but I am a little bit worried that somebody could potentially accidentally slide that little thing up and then change the combination accidentally but I'm not that worried about it to drop this lock down 1 star for that but I will drop it down just 1 star because the lock is super light weight and maybe it's durable I don't know yet because I just got 2 of these today but the weight of this lock is not even half or 1/4 what other locks weigh that are of similar size and some people say it feels like plastic but they claim it's actually aluminum which might be good but I'm just a little bit worried that the weight might be too light and it won't be as durable due to the extremely light weight but time will tell and if the lock holds up well over time I might boost my rating up to 5 stars but as of right now I'm just gonna drop it down 1 star for that because it's so extremely light but it's a pretty interesting lock and I think better than most combination locks at least so far anyways from my initial thoughts.
