I came across many positive reviews praising this clipper so I decided to give it a try.I’m not a professional barber, I only use clippers for self-cuts.Overall, I like how it cuts. While it’s not completely silent, it’s definitely quieter than most standard clippers.That said, I’m not sure if the price difference is fully justified compared to a $50 Wahl clipper. The performance is good, but I expected a more noticeable upgrade for the cost.

Good quality build, easy to use. Relatively quiet, compared to other clippers - this was particularly important as my son is quite sensitive to noise and vibration but seems to be able to tolerate this machine better than others. The ability to move the blades also helps to blend the hair quite nicely.

**BEWARE OF SELLER**Amazon is having to step in for a refundSeller sent a defective and or used item that doesn’t work.I opened the clipper, charged them completely, oiledthem and turned them on and the blade flew off the clipper along with the cutting blade. I turned it off to try and find them and the clipper wouldn’t ever turn back on. No matter what you did, fully charged, brand new and only turned on one time.I’ve since seen other reviews similar from seller.

They will last 4 hours. This comes with the FF2020C Standard Taper Blade, but if you want a closer shave, I suggest looking into the FF2020C Fade Precision Blade.The charger is also nice to have. It is a beefy clipper with some weight, so having a stand for charging is very convenient.

I've been cutting hair for 24 years and have been through allot of clippers. I used to buy Whal brand but their quality has really gone down. I've switched to JRL and am 1000% happier with them.Pros:* Blade stays cool on skin after loads of use.*Clicking side bar is perfect for fades because you never have to guess with eyeballing the blade amount exposed.*The two speed functions is fantastic because you don't waste your battery time ( 4 hour running time before charging) on finer hair plus you can turn it up to high speed for quick effortless cutting through course thick hair.*The digital display showing your battery life is a huge plus.* Super light weight and comfortable grip design is nice for small hands.*Beautiful black and silver design has my customers commenting on how cool they are.Cons:*You have to buy your clipper attachments separately. They are not expensive and it's common that most quality clippers don't come with the attachments* Price is a bit steep but overall the quality is worth it.*Does not come with docking station.I now own the trimmers too. Seriously professional clippers that can withstand 1000 plus clipper cuts a year.

Bought these for my girlfriend. She’s does hair professionally for 15+ years and loves these. They’re quiet and light, which helps with her carpal tunnel. The cordless feature makes it easier to move around as well. They look sleek too! Get ‘em!
