How many syrup dispensers have I tried and tossed? Over a dozen. This one is the one. It can go right into the microwave, lid and all. It can go into the dishwasher. It is the only one I've had that fits all the requirements. You will love this.

The lid has a design flaw. The lid is constructed with a double top, with a spring in-between. Therefore, pouring is easily restricted, and, is almost impossible to thoroughly clean after being used and wanting to use for another liquid. Furthermore, the syrup, or any other liquid, has to pass through two holes, both of which are dimensionally small and can become easily clogged - one hole on the bottom lid and the second on the top lid. From my perspective, the dispenser is almost absolutely worthless; and, would never have bought if knowing how the lid was constructed. Do not know how this dispenser could be efficiently used.

I like it alright. The trick to it not 'dripping' is to not tip it too high (it drips to the side of the spout). It does cut the flow so it doesn't keep dripping.The best feature is that it's dishwasher safe. Most of the others use cheap metal that corrodes easily.
