I’ve been looking for something like these for traveling with a small dog as something to put out at the destination. They only hold about 2 cups of “small bite” small dog food, and that’s if it’s packed to the point it doesn’t even rattle around, so probably fine for an overnight stay with my small dog, but probably closer to just a snack for a bigger dog that eats food with larger pieces. I like that they come apart easily as it makes it easier to clean and/or separate the food bowl from the water bowl if your dog is a sloppy drinker. The latches, particularly the one on the beige one I received, don’t snap closed very tight and, because they protrude out, I’m kind of concerned they might end up getting snagged on something and dump the food. To me, they appeared like they would stack, like the indent on the bottom matched the ridge on the top to “lock” into place when stacked, but they do not. I think the price for the two is a decent deal and I’m happy with them. I look forward to getting to actually use it on the next trip

I appreciate the thought put into these. The water side collapses down to make it smaller and the food side has a lid so if you can't wipe out the water side, it protects the food from getting soggy or moldy. They aren't very big but perfect for small to mid-size dogs. It would work for a bigger dog in a pinch or on a trail too. It's all plastic, including the clasps, but thick plastic and durable. Easy to clean and carry.
