I purchased some small and regular kiwi plates for daily use in my kitchen. The plates are obviously high quality. They're light-weight and in this nice vibrant green that matches perfectly with my style.Turns out that color was achieved with cadmium which can cause cancer, kidney failure, and heart disease among other things with enough exposure. So I can't use these as daily dishes. I spent an afternoon digging through Google and didn't find any evidence of warnings for cadmium, so this is disappointing.The label says it contains "lead and/or cadmium," but the product on Amazon says "lead-free" so I'm assuming that means it's the cadmium we have to worry about. Also the warning labels were ONLY on the small plates but not the larger ones.Typically dishes like this are fine to serve food for one or two fancy dinner parties per year but I don't throw parties, and if I did I wouldn't feel comfortable using this for my guests. Epecially not for my pregnant friends. Lead and cadmium cause birth defects.I really wish this information was listed anywhere on their Amazon storefront or their official website. It would have saved me and the store a lot of time and hassle.Needless to say these were returned as soon as possible. Though their other items are very pretty and highly tempting. Excluding the dinnerware.

The picture is deceiving. The plate is too small than a quarter plate. I had to return it. Not worth the price at all.
