We have been using these to pack snacks for school for kids. They work well on their own and even fit in bigger bento boxes. The lids are holding up well with dishwasher washing(topmost rack).

i’m glad i got these stainless steel food containers. i like using these rather than plastic for concerns of ingesting micro/nanoplastics. i prefer these over glass for being lighter and less likely to break. the main downside of these is that they can’t be used in the microwave. the silicone lids did have a slight plastic smell which went away after a wash in the dishwasher. the stainless steel is good quality, as i had them soaking for a few days and they stayed ok. the lids are easy to open, yet leak proof (when you press them closed properly). these are perfect for packing little snacks, like fruits or cheese. the unicorn etching isn't very obvious, so i didn't feel self-conscious using these being an adult. this is currently listed for almost $15 for the set of 3, which seems like a reasonable price.

I got these for myself. I know they're for kids, but I needed something that would let me pack up some sensible sized snacks, I needed them to be able to travel well, and I wanted them to look cute - too often adult containers are boring with dull designs, and I wanted unicorns, dangit!PROS:- Perfectly sized to pack some homemade snacks. Hold some berries, some cheese and nuts, some crackers and lunch meats, some hummus with veggies - you name it.- SUPER cute. I love the unicorns on top, and the colors are so bright and cheerful - I love the pastel purple especially.- The stainless steel AND the silicon are both easy to clean.CONS:- NOT leakproof, despite what the name says.While I wasn't intending to put anything super saucy in them, I decided to check just in case I did or someone who was buying these was intending to. I put in water, teriyaki sauce (so thicker), and a dab of homemade hummus (extra thick). Not a lot of each - just a spoonful to test. I then put them in a plastic bag and trotted down the stairs and did a walk around the block since I walk to work some days. Both the water and the teriyaki leaked. Hummus was fine. So these are no good for anything saucier than a thick hummus unless you intend to double wrap them and not bounce your bag at all.Altogether though, I'm not intending to put any wet stuff in them, but I do think that the leakproof moniker needs to go.

Bought these for packing kids school snacks - I wasn’t sure how big they’d be, but was pleasantly surprised! Enough for two mandarins or bunch of grapes. They are leak proof and the lids are easy for kids to take off. I’d recommend!

Kids love them for taking fruit and snacks to school. Doesn't take up too much space in their backpacks. Very easy to clean with soapy warm water.
