I was surprised that you really got 4 fly boots in 2 different colors each, that is quite the deal. I am not a fan of these bright colors however you NEED them so you can find them in the instance that your horse looses one of them. So much easier to find in the grass and bushes that they tend to loose them in. Getting 2 sets means you have one that they are wearing and a spare, or the second one is for your second horse if you have one. Very happy with this.

These boots will not likely stand up to horse-powered wear and tear as well as the name brand, but if you have a horse like ours who seems to take great joy in stomping their fly boots to pieces week in and week out, its great to keep a few back up sets on hand that don't cost an arm and a hoof. These boots are made of sturdy, fly proof mesh with heavy duty Velcro, and while they may not last longer than a season, are at least value priced and packaged to let you swap them out with new boots on whatever schedule your equine diva demands. The fun pink and blue will let your equine partner stand out from the herd, and stay fly free to boot. Strangely, one of the photos in the product description shows horses wearing boots with Velcro tabs, while this product very clearly has a strip of Velcro running top to bottom, which is preferable in my opinion. Overall, recommend!
