Coil's worked great. I do recommend checking the spark plug gap before installing.

I got these to install in my 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis with a bone stock 4.6L V8. The first thing I noticed is that the main photo by the seller shows the hold down bolt grommet and the harness plug on the wrong side. I received the correct ones I needed for my car, but I have no clue where they came up with the confusing photo?The next thing I did was get out my ohmmeter to test these. These are meant to replace COP (coil on plug) ignition coils for several years for both the 4.6L and 5.4L. All of these coils should have the same ohm reading. That spec is no less than 5.3K ohms and no more that 5.6K ohms. What do these measure? All 8 measure between 6.36K ohms and 6.44K ohms. This issue would cause these to spark too 'hot'. I took an OEM FoMoCo coil and weighed it. The OEM weighs 6.4 oz. These SYKRSS weigh 6.1 oz. This difference could be the diameter of wire used in the secondary coil or the length. I'm not 100% sure.I will not be installing these on my Grand Marquis.The spark plugs are marked IT6RF13 which is a universal part number for IRIDIUM spark plugs for these engines. I will NOT be installing these either. The threads in the 4.6L head are known to have shallow threads. Meaning you can easily strip them out or the plugs can blow out of the hole if not properly manufactured and hardened. Basically these 4.6L have 9 lives regarding spark plug installs and removals. I'm not going to waste 2 lives on these plugs. Decent brand name plugs are abut the same price for 8 as this entire kit. Same with the ignition coils. One OEM coil costs more that this entire kit of 8 coils and 8 plugs.You might want to try these just to prove me wrong. That's fine. The ONLY way I would use these is if I were selling the car to someone I disliked. Hard pass.

This is exactly as described and exactly what he needed. It fit his truck great and was easy to install. Very happy with them and they did what they was suppose to do! Would Recommend!!
