The oil is probably just fine. The problem is with the caps and needle nosed applicators. They’re completely incompatible with each other. Worthless!

Like many other comments in this product, the needle point does not work and it is a pain to set this up correctly. I had to poke a hole in the pointy plastic cap to make this function. Needle point does not dispense oil.

Check the package to make sure you have everything promised. I only received a few of the items from the picture. No 3.5 oz bottle, no extra nozzle. Now, after waiting for over a week for the delivery, I'm going through the return process.

The oil is OK but the fine needle like point does not fit in the lid.

This is exactly what I was looking for for oiling grandmother’s sewing machine

I own a Janome Cover Pro 2000. All of the reviews etc. said yes or no, to oiling this machine. At my risk, I finally came to the conclusion, that I would. It wasn't working properly anymore. So, to me, I had nothing to lose. Conclusion, she is working fine again.

When I received the kit, I noticed that the needle tip was shorter than the photos showed, but decided that wouldn't be a problem. When I was going to use the oil, one of the black lids was too big to fit on the bottle and the needle tip did not fit over the smaller black lid as shown in the photo. There is no way I can use this.

There’s really no way to tell what this stuff is, but it’s oily, that’s for sure. It’s classified as mineral oil, so it’s probably made from old dinosaur bones. It’s clear, and seems to work well.Proper lubrication of any sewing machine’s moving parts is always critical to prevent wear and stress. If your machine is making noises it shouldn’t be, try a couple of drops of this, or any mineral oil. I like this simply because it was a good deal for the amount of oil you get and the precision tip, which is very necessary. They even throw in a cleaning brush. We have three sewing machines, so I decided to get the large size. Still, this will probably still last forever.I hope this helps.
