Somehow I lost this little lever to my sewing machine (Singer model number 8280) and took a gamble hoping this lever would fit. It did! We had to pull a the little metal piece around the attachment off first to get the new one to fit right, but once we did that it clicked into place, good as new.

I purchased the Sewing machine from goodwill for $10 but there were some parts that were missing. I was very fortunate to find them on Amazon to make my Sewing machine a complete in workable tool. And it works perfectly.

The throat on the lever on my wife's machine cracked so I ordered this one. It's a nice tight fit but definitely goes on there and seems to be holding up well.
