Der Klassische Sound. Habe ihn am Hals in Kombi mit einem Dimebucker an der Brücke (wie Dimebag es hatte). Perfekte Kombi auf einer Explorer. Drückt gut und hat einiges mehr an Wärme im Mix der beiden.

The SH1 neck pick up has a more bell like chime compared to the SH2 which is a darker more jazzy sound. Both have their place. Highly recommend this pick up.

It was time to swap the pups out on one of my guitars. Went to SD's website and ran through the options, played the samples, giggled profusely when I found the right combo, and ordered them. Installed quickly earlier today, thanks to the wonderful wiring diagram in the box, and spent the rest of the day playing. This is exactly the sound I hoped for.

I put this into my 1994 Hamer Studio Slammer Series guitar. It made a world of difference. I've always enjoyed playing that guitar, but it never quite sounded the way I wanted. Problem solved. If you have a favorite guitar and you're thinking of replacing it just because it doesn't sound so good, consider something like this.Also, it was quite easy to install. I replaced all of the pots and switches as well, and between all of it it was probably less than an hour or two of actual work. I am not a very good solderer either.Go to the Seymour Duncan website, they are very helpful about helping you pick out which pickups will be right for you, and how to install them.

Got this for the neck position on my Gibson SG. It has a big wide-range sound. Clean highs, big bottom end. Driven or distorted its smooth. I just want to keep bending the strings cause it sounds so good on bends! Cant go wrong with it. Very versatile pick up from Duncan.
