This is a good pole saw. The charge lasted a long time. I only wish that you could buy another extension to add to the length. The saw is pretty sturdy. The automatic oiler is okay, mother special but does the job.

It does not have a 15ft Max Reach, I'm 6' 6" tall and can only reach maybe 12 ft. safely. The saw itself is 8ft 4in long, NOT the 10 ft as advertised!! Sending it back!

We own 10 acres with about half of the land being wooded and have a lot of trees in our front and back yard as well. Every time we have really high winds or wet heavy snow, we end up having snapped branches that are still attached to the trees but dangling. In the past I would have to get a ladder out and climb it with a saw. I never felt safe, and it was a pain! This pole saw makes this so much easier. I just take this out, reach it up to the branch (being careful not to stand directly under the branch!) and cut it off. It's very easy to use and works great on small branches. You're not going to cut a tree down with this, but that's not what it's intended to do.

I am a fan of these mini chainsaws. I am a woman in her early sixties. I’m fit and consider myself self-sufficient. I maintain all the shrubs and trees in our S. Florida home. There are a couple of trees that were too high for me to reach with the handheld chainsaw. I could climb a ladder, but I’m not super comfortable with heights. So I was very excited when I saw this tool. I unboxed and read the instructions while I charged the battery. Then discovered I needed chainsaw oil which I didn’t have. I got the oil and filled it up. Then put the poles together and attached the chainsaw and the battery. At this point, it’s six feet long and top heavy. It felt too big. But I rolled with it and started trimming. Once I was able to place the saw on the branch I wanted to trim, it took some of the weight off which helped a lot but it still felt too long in terms of getting to the bottom where the controls are. I felt like the weight of the saw required me to hold the pole closer to the top to keep it balanced. I was successful in trimming all the limbs I needed too, but I wasn’t really comfortable wielding this tool because of the length and weight of the saw on the end. I did like the ability to change the angle of the saw it helps you easily get to the exact spot you want to trim. I ran this for about 45 minutes and still had battery left.I had a couple of other drawbacks: 1. There was no case in which to store the saw. A bag would even be helpful. 2. There is only one battery. If it dies while you are working, you have to wait for the battery to recharge before you can finish. 3. I wish it had the option to remove one section of pole to make it easier to handle. 4. The biggest drawback for me is the weight of the saw.
