These do not work as described. I attempted to use as instructed but they would not stay clamped. I ended up using for stalkings only.There are better products out there than this one.

I wish I had seen the review that mentioned the small screw BEFORE I purchased. That is exactly the problem with this product. They arrive as described and fit perfect on my odd shaped mantle because you can adjust the hook. BUT the screw that tightens it into place is so small you can't get a secure hold. I specifically bought to hang my heavy garland on and this product wouldn't even hold an empty stocking. Going back!

These are great little hooks. We are using them to hang stockings. Because of the way they are built we were able to secure them to various items including a bar, a fireplace, and a shelving unit. They are super easy to install. You just slip it over the place you wish to hang the hook and slide up the clamp and screw in the little adjustment screw to keep it in place. There is a little more wiggle than I would like, but otherwise these are great. Very useful.

Used these to hang up garland on a floating shelf. Works perfectly because they're adjustable. Recommend highly!
