the wooden frame is good, the interior, not so much. The interior needs to be tightened on the back frame so that item can be placed inside the box. additionally, there are scratches on the "glass" front. I just have not had time to return this item.

Item: Shadow Box Frame, 16x20 Extra Large Shadow Box Display Case,Deep Shadowbox with Door and Metal Lock for Keepsake Photos Tickets Flowers Bouquet Memorial Items Collages, for Home, BlackThis shadow box is huge, measuring 16x20", so it can accommodate multiple items or large items. I was able to put a graduation stole, that was scrolled across the top and placed vertically, without having to fold it up. The push pins included are cheap quality, not sharp, and some of their points are hooked or will snap on the backing of the frame. The material of the frame backing is a little rough and the material reminds me of a light-colored burlap, giving it a more rustic look, which is not what I was going for. I'm considering putting a different backing down or covering it completely with items. The backing also was placed in the frame with some wrinkles and not pulled taut, so for that I deducted 1 star.Overall, I recommend this shadow box frame, it's a great price, $49.99 for the 16"x20" size and comes pre-assembled, making it easy to get started filling it up. I priced other smaller boxes and they cost the same or more. This frame would be great for larger items or if you have many things you want to commemorate in it. The backing could be better and I would have preferred a white background and having it stretched taut. The push pins could've been better but those are simple and cheap to replace, if needed, which may not be necessary.

This is heavy due to the size, but still light compared to a good quality one. The "glass" is made of plastic, which I find scratches way too easily and without any effort. It feels and looks cheap. The frame also looks cheap, not solid wood. Both these traits are fine if you are paying a low price, but this is NOT a low price.This is currently $70 which I think is way too much given the quality you are getting.

I got this to serve as a frame for a statement piece of crocheted flowers. As such, it worked perfectly. Instead of doing an entire flower wall (who has that much time?) I did this framed piece. It was deep enough to hold even the largest flowers without crushing them and the door actually keeps the dust off. Dusting things like this is a deal breaker for me. It was very sturdy and easy to hang. The size was just right to make a statement without being so large that I had to work to make extras to fill it. Everything about this frame pleased me and if I ever decide to do away with the flowers, it would hold so many other things. I would 100% buy this again.

The Shadow Box is well built and a good size for displaying items.There is lots of room for pinning items to the back board of the display.Hanging hardware is included.Nice hinges and hardware.Problem was the paint had marks on it that I could not wash or buff off. It needs to be sanded and re-painted. We’re taking our eldest on a cruise next year to celebrity turning 21 and all the life adventures he’s now experienced and I want to make a nice shadow box of the trip for his birthdays; I’ll do the booked cruise and research items in an envelope in there, plus design the background, and by his next birthday I will have had time to print the cruise pictures and he can hang it. Although he appreciates scrapbooks I have made, they’re not something he really has space for or interest in while in college, but as a shadowbox it’ll be part of his decor and help to cheer him up when needed. The wood is painted well and assembled nicely, and the wrap kept the glass intact throughout shipping. The interior is nicely done and I like the versatility of a simple background and deep space to truly personalize your shadow box display. I will be buying another of these when it’s time for the other son’s vacation trip.

I have been wanting a shadow box for awhile now and this one is a really good size at 16x20". The box it came in was huge! It is well protected with it's Styrofoam lining and even then they shipped the box in another box so it arrived safely. I love everything about it except that it is plexiglass instead of real glass. I think I will change that out as I hate plastic things and having plexiglass instead of real glass takes away from the overall appeal it has for me. We have just moved and now are living close to the sea and the very old house we live in has its original windows that have a bit of a mirage to them. I'm thinking if I can find a piece of that glass it would look stunning as I plan on making this shadow box a beachy sea shadow box. So I love my box and even though I knew it came with plexiglass that for me is a I don't like it!
