This is truly a sterling sharks tooth, but the back of the piece is not shown in the picture. It is completely hollow. That didn't work for me because I was using it as a charm on a bracelet, not a pendant. My fault, I should of asked if it was a 3 dimensional tooth. I just assumed from the picture it looked the same on both sides. Service was excellent, I received the piece in record time. Unfortunately, I'm returning it.
