Purchased in 2021 and placed in my barbershop. It's use daily, 7 days a week and still works like new. I love the volume and the Bluetooth is amazing. Speakers are clear and no statics.

For a Sharp product I took a chance I prefer top name brands but this turned out to be one of the best machines I encountered to hook up with my TV, Blu-Ray and 8 Track Player. it plays well sounds well and overall has lasted me for a few years now if it ever goes I'll buy another one it just that great and easy to use I even hooked up bluetooth to my computer and the sound coming out from that is even great I give this 5* as well just an amazing small stereo the speakers are well sized and produce a high quality sound when you turn up the bass!!!

I bought this system to replace an older TEAC system in my bedroom that was an AM/FM radio, single CD player, clock, timer, physically hooked up with a 5th generation iPod, and random play. The iPod finally went to the digital heavenly gates so I was limited with what I could do with my TEAC system. After searching a number of products, I found this Sharp mini-stereo system. First off, the system is a rectangular box with a low profile and an easy to read display. There is a single tray under the display for a CD. The speakers are easy to hook up, simply plug the colored wires into the corresponding color terminals. There are two antennas; a loop for AM reception and a long wire for FM reception. The AM antenna plugs only one way into the back of the unit and the FM antenna into the coaxial terminal (yes, it will fit). There is a USB terminal on the front of the unit so you can plug a thumb drive and play MP3 music. There is a random function where you can have the unit play music randomly from the CD or the thumb drive. The remote allows you to control all the functions of the system. The manual is easy to understand as well as using the remote is intuitive. The sound quality is surprisingly very good, maybe not on par with a top line system but very good nevertheless.Pros: CD player, USB terminal, random play on CD and USB, easy to read display, timer allows to to choose when the unit goes on/off and which days of the week, AM/FM tuner, 40 total station memory sets for AM and FM, XBass which you can turn on/off, bass and treble adjustments, Bluetooth connectivity for Android for music only, display dimmer, and very good sound. Cons: The display face could be bigger so you could read more folders/songs from the USB drive.Overall, if you're looking for a good but not expensive mini-stereo system I would definitely recommend this one. jj

I’ve had this product for over a week and so far I am enjoying it. I like the sound as this was the major criteria for me when shopping for a music system. At 50 watts it gives me what I want. The bluetooth works fine, the cd player works fine.So far I don’t have anything negative to say about it except that for a system with only one cd loader I wish it was less expensive.

I got a Phillips some time ago, for my bedroom, radio mainly, even cassette, remember that? Well finally the auto-reverse on the cassette paid off, tried to fix it and ended on the bin...and I need a new one, this served me a few years, almost 15 years...so why not trying another Phillips...big mistake, total toys, sounded horrible, and the CD stopped playing the same day...So I gave this one a spin....what can I say, sound was beyond my expectations, coming from a multi-thousand main setup, and multi-thousand setup headphones system as well...this simply sounds sweet, good for the price, all works as intended, and the remote is very versatile. One remark, you need the remote for certain functions, BT connectivity is better than expected, more on the annoying side, just use it when you need it, and after that, close it...as it has the BT as default, no matter what you select....not a monster of a powerhouse, but in an small apt you can do a party easily. CD is a little cumbersome to use, has to be used by the remote mainly and takes some practice and manual reading to get used to it...BTW download it and print it, as the one provided is folded and really hard to follow it....antenna sometimes is an issue, got an 8 bucks antena from Amazon, and ready to go...I live in an apt, in a city, and my bedroom is facing the opposite side of all radio stations I like, my bad...at least you got an option for an antenna....I still intend to repalce the speakers for the Phillips old ones, that he woofer is bigger an ribbon tweeters, a litter more sophisticated, as these are all paper, and x-over, Gos knos...but for the size, you can't ask for more...honestly, if you need an inexpensive samll footprint setup, just get this one....

I read the reviews carefully before making my decision to buy this. I needed a small stereo in my bedroom. I wanted CD particularly, but also bluetooth and radio. So far everything has worked great. It's a solid little piece of equipment that acts exactly like its bigger brothers. In a way it's kind of old school in that respect. And that's exactly what I wanted - something simple to operate. The sound? Really nice and full. Speakers sound great and with 50 watts it really cranks up. I've even taken to turning off the "x-bass", which brings up the fact that there are separate bass and treble controls, instead of preset e.q. settings. This is practically unheard of these days. Another feature you wouldn't expect, and one that drew me to the XLHF102B, is the RCA inputs in the back. A definite plus. I've checked out the bluetooth - works fine with my android, though I haven't really checked the range. Partnering is simple and no problem. The USB input plays my mp3's on flash drive with no problem. Computer CDR's with mp3's work fine. As do music CDR's. I should add the CD mechanism is solid and loads and ejects CD's with confidence. Radio reception is exceptional. The lower wattage college radio station I listen to comes in loud and clear. So... overall, and I've only had the unit a couple of weeks, I would say I am very pleased and can recommend it for someone who wants a compact stereo unit with exceptional sound and features that would be expected from another unit at a higher price.
