Guess my original review was a bit too unenthusiastic about the Sharper Image thermometer. Yet I didn't say anything derogatory about the product, only that for that price I'd expected a bit more from it. I'd originally give it 4 stars since, as a thermometer, it does work. Now that less than stellar reviews are rejected (by whoever), I've dropped it to 3 stars.

I am most impressed by the accuracy of the readings. Only have to take my temperature once instead of having to take multiple readings that vary widely. I sent back two other thermometers due to inaccurate readings.
