I have recently started using Shars tools. I figured they would break the 1st day or 2 because of the price. I have to machine like 48 58 rockwell, nitrided, interupted cuts all over. There's only 2 brands of carbide inserts that can last more than a minute. Jaws have little room for error, they'll kick parts, snap seats, clamps, tools, literally everything if you give it time. Vigilant maintenance, everything has to be tightened intermittently, whole machine vibrating, offsetting and changing inserts constantly.I ran shars tools all week last week and bought 10 more vnmg/cnmg tools. The clamp is very ergonomic and efficent. I can change inserts with 1 allen key, spring-loaded clamp up, rotate, tighten, done. No time, no headache, no searching for a second allen key. I'm a fan. If these tools have no issues with my nightmare parts, I can't see them having any issues cutting A6, 06, 4140, S7 whatever you have laying around. I would highly recommend these. American company and 1/2 the price.
