This sheet music folder is an improvement over traditional folders. This one consists of transparent, non-reflective, plastic full-sheet protectors that can hold two sheets of music back-to-back and completely cover the paper surfaces. Pages of music are secured on each side by plastic strips at the top, bottom, and one side. The flexible strips have just enough recoil to securely hold 8.5 x 11" pages and probably 9 x 12". Even if the paper sheets are not placed directly into the bottom crease, they won't readily move around within the strips.However, a disadvantage of spiral binders is that individual sheets can not be readily inserted without moving everything else out of the way.The first page in the binder is a double-sided 8.5 x 11" dry-erase board for making notes. An accompanying black marker fits within the spiral edge.This is an excellent music upgrade at a very fair price.

We have 5 of these full of sheet music. We love that our music teachers can write directly on the music without needing to remove it from a cover. It is very easy to switch the order of music if needed, and easy to make notations as you play. I would highly recommend these for anyone who plays music and likes to make notations on your sheet music.

I got this for my son's orchestra practice; it makes it so much easier for him to flip pages.The sleeves are sturdy, with opened area to write notes. I feel like the sleeves are actually bigger in size in which our papers are relatively small, and doesn't keep the papers in place well enough.Pros:- perfect for band/orchestra practice- easy to write notes- value for money for such qualityCons:- doesn't keep the paper in place

Great spiral bound book meant for sheet music, but you really could use it for anything with the standard size clear pockets.It comes with a dry-erase marker and the first page of the book is a blank "notes" page.It's nice to be able to put sheets of music in the pouches and mark them up temporarily.

I purchased the iVideoSongs Sheet Music Folder – 20 Sleeves 40 Page Spiral Binder Organizer for Staff Paper Music Stand – Size 8.5 x 11 Inch Music Paper with Erasable Sheet Music Paper Page & Marker for my son who is in college studying to be a composer. He has never owned an organizer like this and I am optimistic he will be happy to receive such a gift. I will find out on Christmas morning! At this point, I am happy with the price point, the presentation, and what I hope will be a useful gift.
