Good solid cleats will do the job

Excellent Quality – Will function as needed with correct fastenersI am really happy with the quality of these rope tie off “Horn Cleats”. They will be strong enough for the loads I will impose on them using my chosen correct fasteners. The included stainless steel Phillips drive flat head wood screws are tiny and seem to be just “show display” type screws that would not hold tight enough against a strong pulling load.These may indeed be 316 Stainless Steel alloy because the cleats and the fasteners were non-magnetic when tested with a strong magnet. I chose the highly polished version and both cleats were flawless so the manufacturer must have high Quality Control inspection standards.Some of the reviewers unfairly complained that these rope cleats were smaller than they expected. Yet the website description clearly describes the exact dimensions by using a very well drawn dimensional illustration.These Horn Cleats are world wide common design of rope grab points used mostly in boating applications. I do not have a dock or a boat. I am going to use these on my next homemade Deer Carrier vehicle receiver mount cargo carrier.

These stainless dock cleats look just as nice in real life as they do in the pictures. They are nicely polished, with no sharp edges anywhere. The only problem is that they are REALLY tiny. Like, I'd consider them petite for cabinet pulls, I can barely get my fingers under the bar.I will wind up using these, but probably as a tie off point for my minnow bucket or floating toys, or as a safety anchor for unattended fishing rods. I think that these are strong enough to hold bigger things, but just not big enough to handle the typical dock rope or anchor line.If you order them, check the size carefully and make sure they will be useful to you.
