Good rosin! I thought I was ordering a square cake but received a round one.

Came in nice and pretty, nothing was chipped.Works really great! It came in just like it looks in the picture. No need to have to use it constantly, just a few passes and your ready to play for a good while without having to use it for awhile.

This was the worst rosin experience ever. The rosin came in cracked and once I opened it, it created a huge mess. I can't return it, too cheap. Luckily I ordered 2 so the other one that came in was good, since my old rosin cracked and I desperately needed a new one before orchestra practice (that'd just be embarrassing, to show without rosin)

Great quality, it creates a beautiful crisp sound for when the bow strikes.Definitely recommended for regular and expert use.

Cracked into pieces immediately! Thankfully it sits on wood. With a little help of foil and collection of the pieces.... put into the oven at a low temp... it all melded back together! That said, I like that it sits on wood. It makes it easier to handle and if it does crack again, it is easy to fix.

The rosin came as described and with no cracks/breaks. I placed a few parallel scratches on the face of the rosin and proceeded to rosin my violin's bow. I had the appropriate amount in about a 1/4 of the time as usual. EVen though I play a Violin, I like the sound of a dark rosined bow. This product was high quality and my favorite to purchase. It is always important to understand the different rosins; it is the most important component to creating great sound with your instrument (minus the instrument and strings, of course). Dark rosin is softer and best suited for cool, dry climates. Amber (light) rosin is harder and great in hotter, humid climates. It also is the usual go-to for violinists. Unless, of course, you prefer dark rosin for some odd reason like myself!

Not the best but works well for a beginner and is reasonably priced for what you get. I would recommend.

I left my rosin that I've had for years in the hot car and it melted into an unusable mess... I ordered this item and it was exactly what I needed. Looks just like the picture, works great. Nice price. No complaints.
