I didn't imagine I would be o pleased with these socks. First off sizing, I am a size 7. The small socks fit perfect. The heel padding was a little weird at first. From looking at them initially it looked too thick and bulky. But boy was I wrong. I wish all socks had heel padding like these. They fit great in my shoes, even those I consider tighter and smaller and don't even usually wear socks with. The lace on the end is perfect. It's actually very sturdy and not too delicate but it look so cute! Love these socks.

My 18yo daughter has an in between shoe sizes feet size. She is prone to getting sores on the back of her feet (achilles). These socks are great! They are pretty with the lace ruffle. They have a soft, well-made fabric. The padding does its job well, she never has blisters or sores when she wears them.

These fit well and I have wide feet. I also liked the lace look. But I was mistaken about where the padding was. It does go in the back of the heel which is ok on some of my shoes, but not on others where it bulges above. I would like to see some with a below the heel padding.

I wear a size ten in women's and find these socks to be stretchy yet thick but not tight. They are a breathable material. I love the frilly lace which gives these socks a feminine flair wether you wear them with high top sneakers or fancy dress shoes or booties. What sets these socks apart are the extra pads sewn into the heels. This would be perfect for any of those shoes that rub on the heel, even hiking boots! These aren't your ordinary thin dressy girly socks. These are grown women who like to do things socks.

2024/12 — These gorgeous socks are pricey but when you comprehend the labor necessary to attach a generous piece of padding to the back-of-ankle area inside the sock the context makes sense. Let’s face it: We’ve all done time with shoes that dig into the back of our ankles, and had to apply multiple bandaids. These are the real deal and they are surprisingly ((THICK)). The padding is stitched directly inside the sock where your shoe wants to cut in.I’ll pause here to recommend ZJHSXDR here on Amazon where for $9.99 you can get TWO pairs of killer shoe stretchers to ruthlessly stretch out that naughty pair of shoes made for an alien without ankles. It will be the best $10 you’ll spend, trust me. These shoe stretchers are brilliant, but I’ll let you discover why! https://amazon.com/dp/B09FHB68C1The Shezza is a sock that for once has your comfort in mind. The weave is composed of 76% combed cotton, ((16% SPANDEX)), 4% nylon, and 4% elastic. The key word here ladies and gentlemen is SPANDEX: Every pair of socks worth their weight in gold must have two traits: don’t be a tube sock (that’s RELIGION people, do your foot and leg look like a straight board? exactly); and check to make sure the weave has a HIGH LYCRA SPANDEX COUNT. Keep this advice close to your heart when you shop for socks and it will quickly become apparent why so many of the socks out there are so cheap. You will always pay more to get a high SPANDEX ratio. The higher the amount of SPANDEX used in your socks the more exquisite your pleasure will be: Whenever your foot/ankle moves the caress will be like SILK kissing your skin. Always check the weave of the sock: The higher the LYCRA SPANDEX count, the silkier they’ll feel. Notice something missing? You’re correct! Polyester is nowhere to be seen in these socks and you can thank Shezza (the mfr. of the socks) for that. Because they are 76% COTTON most stains will come out in the wash. TIP: soak them overnight in cold water (not hot!) with a ½ Cup of SALT before throwing them in the wash and you’ll break the grip the molecules use to cling to the fabric (it’s an old Chemistry 101 trick I learned in college, trying to get rid of menstrual blood). These socks have everything. I wear a Womans size 9 WIDE and the sizing on these lacy little beauties worked perfectly. These are made for women but — look men, why shouldn’t you have a touch of lace too? If your shoe size isn’t too big these should fit you like a dream and they do come in black. 5 Stars EASILY.

I actually got advertised these on Instagram a few months ago and thought they were a great idea. My shoe ankles always end up cutting into my ankle one way or another.Upon wear, these are just okay. I got size M for size 8 shoes. When not wearing shoes, the socks fall down my calves and bunch up in the front and the back pad rests lower. My calves are big, so I can't imagine how smaller people will fare with these. The lace is okay, it's a flower pattern but it's not amazing and kind of doesn't stick out. The ankle pad, on the other hand, is very noticeable and makes these socks unfortunately unappealing. The first word that came to mind when I looked at how they fit was "dorky", which is sad because I didn't think the ankle pad would be so obvious. When wearing sneakers or any shoes besides boots & Docs, the pad will be seen. However, they are super comfy when I wore them with some of my ankle grinding shoes, which makes this even more frustrating, because if they just looked good as well it would be so easy to give this 5 stars.I'm not sure how to fix this issue. I think the only way to do it would be to make the socks from a thicker material that would hide the pad a little more. I also think the elastic top needs to be slightly tighter.I hope the brand works on improving these, because I want them to be good. I want a cute sock that helps with shoes cutting into my ankle. I think they're decent now--maybe 4 stars when wearing with boots-- but I don't think they're the best they could be.
