This shifter boot is too thick and will not accommodate the shift lever to freely shift. There is so much resistance that it knocks the shifter out of gear. Bad product. Stay away

Bought this boot for my 83 cj7 with a T5 transmission and after one month the boot tore. Seems durable out of the box and was actually pretty stiff when i tried shifting. thought it just need to be broken in, well it definitely broke and i feel a waste of money. Still on the hunt for a durable decently priced shifter boot

Seems like its good quality but the holes didn't line up and the bottom is flat and doesn't match the curvature of the plate. It did bend into place easily and I just drilled new holes.
