Press fit bottom brackets are common now, and much cheaper than they used to be. This is an XT BB that will work with most modern Shimano cranksets. Just check the shell width. Very high quality.

Super boitier de pedalier pas cher , fiable et robuste ....juste à bien aligner les cuvettes des roulements afin de ne pas abîmer l'entretoise plastique qui relie les 2 cuvettes lors de l'installation !!!!!!!! ...si vous le faites vous même bien sûr !!!

Where to start? Well first, the thing is plastic. Maybe that was written in fine print somewhere? I didn’t see it. I spent $20+ on a piece of plastic for my MOUNTAIN BIKE!! It did not come with any spacers. Which are usually required. Then it broke as I attempted to install it. No force, not hammering. And broke. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I have one ordered for my other bike. I’ll be cancelling that order and finding something that will at least allow me to ride before it brakes!P.S. 1 star was being generous. It’s a negative in my opinion.

Bought this to replace existing bottom bracket that was creaking but this one creaks just as badly. Replaced this one with a threaded BB and no more creaks

Easy install with the right tools and anti-sieze compound, must have a headset-bearing/ bottom bracket-bearing install tool to get the cups parallel in the frame.

En lo compré para sustituir el pedalier original (Press fit bb92). El original de la Bici llevaba mas de 5000km y empezó a dar aviso de fallo con crujidos y ruidos y una pequeña holgura. Normalmente suelo desmontar los rodamientos, limpiarlos y engrasarlos, pero llegados a este punto ya no había manera de fueran bien. El modelo original es el anterior a este o de la gama anterior. Este ya solo con compararlo ya se ve que es mejor, las cazoletas están mejor acabadas y más estancas por lo que le puede dar una vida más longeva y soportar mejor la suciedad que se acumula de lavar la bici. En mi caso , mi cuadro no esta sellado en su soporte del pedalier, por lo que hay que montar en tubo separador para realizar un sellado completo del conjunto. Aquellos que en su cuadro no tengan agujeros y su soporte de pedalier sea estanco , pues eso que se ahorran. Es necesaria la herramienta adecuada para realizar el cambio o el mantenimiento del mismo , para ello os remito a esta que es la que tengo y funciona muy bien:https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B07TVMQN43/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . También encontrareis una opinión de ella al respecto.Es recomendable un mantenimiento del sistema, una vez al año por lo menos, ya que no está de más mirar como va la cosa aunque no tengamos ruidos y limpiar de residuos y volver a sellar con grasa de montaje.Por la información que he leído , este modelo con respecto al anterior no solo mejora el sistema estanco del mismo , si no que los propios rodamientos son mejores. Espero que sea cierto y dure más km que el anterior.Viene con un anilla separadora para pedalier más estrecho. en tal caso mirar el propio manual de montaje del producto en la página del fabricante , donde se explica su función y colocación y se comenta lo del tubo separador.Tras varias salidas y mas o menos 400km, no he notado nada raro. El comportamiento es suave , los ruidos has desaparecido y todo va fino, muy fino.Espero que te sea útil mi comentario y si es así Clica en ello.
