This was a perfect replacement for my 2015 Cannondale Synapse. This is neat design with a separate bleed nipple and bleed valve. The bleed nipple is under a smaller rubber cover and the bleed valve is controlled by a 3mm hex fitting.

An exact replacement with new J03A pads. Only downfall is the color is a little off vs the factory RS785 caliper...a little on the lighter side almost gunmetal like vs the factory caliper was almost black. Either way, it does what it needs to after bleeding the brakes.

Had a shop install it and immediately upon installation, it was leaking brake fluid. Good shop, doubt they installed it wrong. Luckily, the shop is handling warranty replacement. Be aware with these Shimano brakes. They are likely to leak.

Great calipers i think because they are shimano but didn’t come with the nipples needed to bleed the system (they have a hex head plug). This makes them useless unless there is another way to fill the system. I have contacted the seller and will give 5* if they are able to correct the problem.
