とても重量軽いのに変速しっかりしてます。シマノの製品互換情報には記載が無い＝非公認ですが、10速のCS-HG500 11-32Tの変速に使用できています。32Tまでカバーする、ビッグプーリーやロングゲージといった「見た目大袈裟」でないディレイラーはあまりなく、このクラリスが使えるのは嬉しいところです。※ただしフロントシングル運用でないとキャパシティが足りないです。なお１０速用に組み合わせたシフターはSL-TZ500「改」＝SISキャンセルしたフリクション化&レバー可動範囲拡大というDIY改造品＝で、激安10速コンポとしました。DIY改造の方法はググれば出てきます、目分量で削るので気持ち悪いかもしれませんが何とかなるもんで、10速分の上32から下11まできちんとスムーズに動きますし、TZ500はワンレバーでハンドル周りがシンプルになり美しくお気に入り。シマノ非公認なのではっきりしたことはわかりませんが、こんな改造シフターを使わなくても、きちんとSISで10速決まるシマノ10速シフターはあると思いますが、10速シフターといってもシマノには色々なモデルがあり、シマノの10速シフターならなんでも適合するわけでは無いのが難しい。カセットスプロケットは軸方向の厚さ＝トップ〜ロー間の全幅が同じでも、驚くべきことに各歯間の幅が一定でない。変速性向上のために歯にいろんな加工がされているのも、シフターの各段引き量が一定幅でないことに関係があります。それらを加味して精緻なSISステップ設計されてるので、SISシフターはスプロケットとの互換性が大事になってきます。トップとローだけ合わせたらその間のSISは自動的にバッチリ合うというわけではないのです。最初はそれに気づかず、転がっていたシマノ１０速SISシフターを使いトップとローを合わせたが、途中3から5速でSISが合わず飛ぶので悩みましたが、観察の結果そういうことのようです。10速スプロケにも各歯間ステップ構成にいくつかタイプがあるのでシフターとスプロケの互換性があります。野良blogを彷徨ってみましたがそのへん製品互換にかんする情報は正確性が乏しい記事しか検索できませんでした。シフターを分解してSISの各変速幅を決めるプレート機構部を作り直すDIY大改造しかないとの結論、とても素人にはできません。SISを諦め、フリクションにしてます。ひとつわかったのは、今の4700系用のSISシフターは基本的に使えない。4700系コンポはシフターの移動量にたいしてワイヤー引き量が多くなり、ワイヤー対ディレイラー動きの比が変わってるらしい。ご注意下さい。※おそらくSL-4600あたりがスプロケCS-HG500 11-32TとこのディレイラーでのSIS10速に適合？シフターのフリクション改造はおすすめ。SISのカチカチ音から解放され、ディレイラーが静かに変速する様子を聴きながら走れるのは気持ち良いものです。いっそフリクションへと勧めるのはそれが理由です。健闘を祈ります

9速の14－25ｔスプロケットでの使い方をしています問題なく使えます調整も難しくなかったし変速も気持ちよく決まります上位モデルのリアディレイラーは黒い色ばかりですがこのクラリスはガンメタリックな渋い色でそれもカッコいいです買って良かったです

Some things myst be OEM - this is one of them. Works great on my roadie no need for big money derailleur. Put 500 miles on so far.. Be sure to see the many YouTube videos for installation as making an error in adjustment could cause damage to frame and personal injury. Or have bike shop install. Also many good books on bike maintenance. Park Tools not needed here but the have excellent videos as well. Need small Phillips to adjust may need new hanger.

The delivery was prompt. The product works (6 weeks in now since replacing the damaged item on the bike). I feel like we paid for this product at a fair market price - and I never had to leave my house to get it. I'm happy.

Bought this product as a replacement a few months later it did this the local bike shop said this derailer was not worn it just gave up snapped as I was just switching gears and this happened.As I was told from my local bike shop the derailer could of be defective from the start almost caused me to get into a accident .Not saying this may happened to you in the future but this was at least few months later it snapped my hanger as well which caused me more just to replace.This detailer had plenty of chain and was tuned up.It was not wrapped up in the spokes as you can see no damages to my rear rim so again it most likely had issues I was not aware of it was defective. Pretty scary when your riding in traffic this happened.

Yes its not as fancy as a dura ace derailleur, but it has worked flawlessly on my roadbike for about the past 6 months. I cant complain for the price.

Excellent, smooth shifting derailleur. I exchanged my entire drivetrain for the latest Claris groupset and converted flats to drops. My bike came with a very strange combo in the OEM drivetrain. I chose an 11-28t cassette, 34/50t crankset, and it's perfect for my riding segments. This derailleur required very little adjustment for my build.

I have this model of derailleur on two of my bikes which use 8 speed cassettes and they shift well.
