Had to convert my Scott road bike to upright due to lumbar fusion and thoracic fracture. These shifters plus the brake levers made the conversion simple and perfect. I used Jones handlebars upswept 700mm.

Disappointed in this product. I must have gotten a defective part. I've used this same set of shifters on another flatbar conversion and it worked ok, but the last set I received didn't work so well. With everything cabled up, the rear mech would only shift 8 times both up and down. In other words, it was a 9 speed shifter. Thought I did something wrong, so took everything apart. Tested shifter with no load and it worked ok. (9 shifts both up and down equals 10 speeds). Put it back togerther, same problem. Checked everything and tried to adjust many times. Even swapped out rear derailleur. It would not work. It was not my cabling either. I installed an XT DynaSys shifter and rear derailleur with the same cables and housing and it worked fine. I am a Shimano fan. This is a disappointment. I expect more, even from Tiagra level parts.
