Yeti coolers demanded their premium from latches until everybody else started doing them. Here lies the solution to making any other non-latched cooler resistant to losing their covers in the wind. These latch handles worked perfectly. However, I've used them before. This particular item lacked instructions - it is very important to install them in a manner where the rubber is slightly preloaded. Worked as they should since I knew how to install them - they will not work properly without preload. Rubber is stiff, and plastics are strong enough for the job. You may have to swap out screws depending on your installation.

These rubber latch handles have good quality rubber on them. Look and feel durable. Simple install, pretty self explanatory. I use these on my boat for the anchor hatch. Holding up well so far. Definitely recommend.
