The instructions are not all that great for how to tie a hay net to this thing. The ring is nice and sturdy, but the instructions need to come with pictures. The one picture I did find was only of the top portion of the hay net that didn't show how the string is tied off. If you tie it the way the image shows on the board that comes with the ring, the string will slide out of the clasp. Please include a full picture that shows how to safely tie a hay net to this!

Best Hay Bag hanger EVER. This hay bag hanger makes my job so easy and effortless. I have 21 hay bags to hang and this little gem is a must for all A.G. applications. Equine, Bovine, Sheep and goats. AWESOME!

If you want what is pictured, even on the package itself, then do NOT purchase. Beyond disappointed that it did not arrive as advertised and now I’m stuck with it as I missed the return window (got shoved aside and momentarily lost and I had no intention of using). As a highly vertically challenged person, needed the clasp that I could simply use the weight of the hay net to hang (you know, as pictured...) and not only do I not get that with the one that arrived, but the head off the clasp is so small the hay nets I have don’t fit inside. Ugh! WASTE OF MONEY!!!

I bought these as an after thought b/c it was suggested when I purchased two Shires hay nets. I was spending time figuring out my best knotting system, and the mare would unknot it and strew it around, and then when it stayed put, I had to unknot it to fill it, of course. So when these tie rings arrived saying 'No more fiddly knots required' I was onboard! Read the instructions carefully and you too can connect and disconnect the nets in 10 seconds or so. Great device!

Love this product! Makes life a lot easier not having to tie the haynets - we have squeezed 2 large ones on it without any problems - as getting them down to refill them takes just seconds. Putting them up is a doddle! Can't really be unhooked by the horses by mistake either. Slightly more expensive than a regular tie ring (which range, it seems, from around £2-£4.50) but it is well worth the extra couple of pounds!
