ahhhh... my young son thinks this is the BOMB! Great tackle football youth size back plate. Easy to attach to the pads. As a parent, I feel just a tad bit better with another layer of protection. AND he loves it so I get a free pass with the added protection!

My son is very small for his age. He is 14 (closer to 15) and still in size youth medium clothes but that doesn't stop him from going against any opponent on any team (regular season or travel football). Having this puts my momma heart as ease just a little more knowing it's an added layer of protection on his body. I wasn't sure if this would fit, it seems like it's for youth, like elementary school age, but he seems to think this is ok and is happy to have it. I was afraid the large would be too big making it ineffective. His Dad is the coach and assured it would be good to wear as well so that puts me at ease about it. This brand is also very well-known and great quality.

Got this for football for my 5ft 10in 12 year old. I did get the adult size and the sizing is great, it will work for most adults. I got the koolaid one because what 12 year old wouldn’t want that? Oh and there is a disclaimer on the package that says product does not taste or smell like Koolaid…haha.Anyways i have bought many Shock Doctor mouthguards for my kids over the years as well as a few girdle shorts and the like. And the quality is also great like I expected. All in all it’s exactly what it claims to be.

I haven’t had the chance to use this back plate in action yet, but my initial impression is very positive. The material feels durable and well-made, with a solid structure that suggests it will offer good protection for the lower back and kidney area.The curved design seems to contour well to the body, and the inner padding provides a comfortable feel without being too bulky. The matte black finish gives it a clean, professional look.While it hasn’t been tested in a game or practice yet, everything about it so far suggests it will perform as intended.I’ll update the review if necessary after some real use.

my son has always wanted one of these even though i think its pretty silly and only for show but he LOVES itlove the american flag designits a great fit for him, he is 11 years oldexactly as described and pictured, my thought is its more for swag but i do suppose it will cushion a fall especially with the cushion padding behindoverall its exactly what he wanted and love everything by this brand
