Construction is fairly simple. It is a typical flat-pack mass-produced shelf. Rather flimsy until you secure the backing. Compared to the (much larger) 3x3 shelving I got at a big box store for the same exact price, it is not such a bargain.

Really love this shelf. No more shoes in the entry way. Easy to put together didn't take long at all. We got the white, its like a white wash not a bright white. Depending on whose shoes are in there it can hold about 4-6 pair but I have all boys that have big feet. Shelf is sturdy and I appreciate the top shellf.

This bookcase lives next to my retro game station, and holds a lot of my games and movies. It's sturdy, doesn't flex, and was pretty easy to assemble. The color is very nice, and it's a great size for not taking up much space while providing useful storage

The MDF material is sturdy, and the back panel is a proper board—not flimsy cardboard—adding durability.The shelf is smaller than it looks in the photos, so check the measurements carefully. While perfect for small items like books, decor, or office supplies, it's not deep enough for standard-sized storage bins. A few assembly quirks, like slightly misaligned pre-drilled holes or unclear picture instructions, can be annoying but manageable.Overall, it's a practical, well-priced piece for small-scale storage and decor needs. Just don't expect heavy-duty or full-size storage capability.

I ordered this unit with the intention of keeping it on the bottom of my closet. I have a similar one by Closet Maid and use it to better organize the lower half of my bedroom closet. This one has those fabric bed sheet organizers stacked in it. It was simple and straightforward to assemble —- it took less than 30 minutes. The price is about average compared to other similarly-sized units on Amazon ($30 at the time of writing this review). Overall, I’m happy with this and would definitely recommend!

This was easy to put together with tools included. The set up does not take long, esp if you are familiar with ready to assemble furniture. The directions are fairly easy to follow but a couple of differences in the set up compared to other pieces. Follow the directions and do not anticipate the next steps and it will come together well.The quality of the finish is questionable. Overall the cabinet looks good but when assembling, some of the finish chipped off esp on inner corners. Be careful not to over-twist the screws.The unit is square but some edges are not exactly flush but it is not noticeable guess you run your hand over the edge. I found the shelves to be a little narrow for much storage. I would prefer at least an 11 or12 inch depth to allow for shoes or books. However for a clock or small lamp, it is fine.

I have a couple guest rooms and I needed a small nightstand next to the trundle bed. This is perfect. Assembly is quick and easy. It’s sturdy and it looks great. It’s extremely functional as well. I placed a small lamp and alarm clock on top and flowers and books on the shelf.Highly recommend.
