I'm very surprised how well this cleans my canvas shoes (Sketchers Bob's styles). I spray the soles only with Shout and scrub them with a brush to get the dirt off of them before putting them in the bag. No sense in getting that dirt mixed in with the rest of the load. I've been very happy to get the results I was looking for, without scrubbing the entire shoe. It's a worthwhile purchase.

Usually, I just toss my shoes in the washer, but that can sometimes backfire if my strings get caught up around other items. These bags absolutely prevented that, and I'm sure my shoes were just as cleaned in the bags as they would have been outside. The only reason why I deducted one star is because I bought these for $20 which, IMO, is a bit overpriced. These are currently at $14 which makes them reasonably affordable!

Wow! I bought these thinking that they probably would not work. I put my very dirty New Balance tennis shoes in there & they came out looking brand new! I was literally about to throw them out & just buy a new pair. I’m honestly amazed. I bought 2 more so that I can wash 4 shoes (2 pair) in one load.

After washing my shoes, I took them right out of the bag and set them outside to dry. They had a mildew smell on them after drying. Unsure if it was from the bag or not.I washed them without the bag and they did not have a mildew smell.
