The flies this year came earlier and very aggressive. In a matter of days they created multiple sores on our mini donkeys legs. I cleaned and treated the wounds and placed the leg protectors on. They have stayed in place and protected the wounds. I believe the product itself is pricey but easy to use and helped her heal more quickly.

They came off and slid down my donkeys legs- they didn't protect where I needed them to.... She was easily able to kick them off- so my hunt through the pastures was daily.... thankfully they were pink, so easy to spot..... but annoying to have to search for them daily.

Coco won’t let us near her with fly spray so we put these on her a couple months ago. She’s still got 3 on. She’s hard to catch so we haven’t put the 4th one back on. Her legs are so much healthier and feel better now that the flies can’t get around her ankles. I would definitely recommend you order if you have a stubborn a$$ like mine.

I love these boots. I have plenty of pairs for my big horses, but wanted to get some for my newest addition. Rena is a bigger mini, but she still has little legs so I figured mini size would work for her. I was wrong. The bottom wouldn’t even Velcro and I didn’t feel comfortable leaving them on her so I unfortunately had to return them. I’ll be trying a bigger size to see if they work better!

I was a little worried at first if they would fit once I saw the size in the package but they actually fit really well for my mini pony and mini donkey. The flies have been eating up there legs and these work perfect. My mare has had hers for over a year and they are still in good shape. Well made!

Perfect for mini-donkeys. Provides good protection from biting flies for lower leg by fitting all the way up to below the knee, holding their shape all the way through the summer.
