Works great on my very tight hand fitted 1911. Smells good, for those that care about that. Applicator works perfect once you read the instructions. You have to pull out the applicator the bottle comes with with pliers, before you change to another applicator. Once I did that all is good. Applicators work perfect

A high-performing gun oil at a reasonable price. Can also be used as a CLP product. Also, this package is a good precision applicator that comes with options in terms of dispensing needles/caps. You can get a 4 oz. bottle of FP-10 for about $8 and refill this. Only possible better synthetic gun oil I've found is Weapon Shield -- but it's also higher priced than FP-10. Bit of a strong smell (reminds me a touch of kerosene), but I've not found it an issue in the small amounts I use. It's become my go-to gun oil.
