These are comfy, got a nice assortment of lenses and other accessories all in a nice compact case. My only real issue is changing the lenses, I feel like I'm going to break then every time but haven't yet.

These should work fine as a basic set with some protection. The lenses are (stated to be) made out of polycarbonate and should do a good job of protecting your eyes from debris and minor impacts (brass ejections and splatter) at the gun range, but as another reviewer pointed out, the lenses are not stamped Z87.1 and it can be assumed they are are NOT impact rated, even if the box says they confirm to standards. If you're comfortable wearing regular sunglasses to the range for protection, I suspect these are as good or better at protecting your eyes. If you work in a machine shop or want to be cautious, you may want to upgrade to something with an impact rating. The kit is very comprehensive. It includes a hard case to hold everything, a soft case for just the glasses with no extras, a cleaning cloth (you'll really need this if you swap lenses - see below), an adaptor to use prescription lenses with these glasses (more below), a Velcro leash (that I'm not sure I like - see below), and four lenses (dark, rose, yellow, and clear).A quick stop to talk about the prescription insert. I thought this was a slick idea. I don't need them, but if I needed prescription lenses this would be much more convenient and comfortable than trying to wear these glasses OVER my prescription glasses. I put the insert onto the nose piece (do this while the nose piece is on the lens already), and confirmed the insert still allows good peripheral vision. My only hang up is wondering how easy it would be to find lenses that fit the insert. This isn't as good an option as prescription shooting glasses, but I suspect it's a lot more cost effective. My only hang up on the lens colors is the "dark" lens really isn't very dark. On a bright day it's better than clear lenses, but it doesn't offer the relief I'm looking for on a really bright day. The other three lenses do work well and I like how the rose lens helps my eyes pick up clay pigeons.Functionally, the lenses are a little tough to change. You really need to wrench on these and stick your fingers and thumbs hard on the lens to get them out. The motion required is not really intuitive, but fortunately in the packaging they reference a well done video that shows how to do it (https://guardtechplus.com/pages/lens_change) - if not for the video, I'm certain I would have broken a lens or the frame. I have had similar sets of glasses, and the lens swap on those is much easier and involves much less mashing of fingers and thumbs on the lenses, making for much easier cleaning of lenses before you can use them.My final observations are about the quality of the arm length adjustment and leash. The arms do pull out, and one side has some resistance so once out it stays out, or in stays in. The other side slides back and forth much more easily and I have little confidence it will stay where I set it to fit my head. The leash is good at holding the glasses firmly in position on your head. The design uses Velcro holding the two sides together in the back, but they're a little short (for my head), so I have the prickly "hook" (of hook and loop) pressing into my scalp - not painful, but an annoyance. If you have a smaller head, or don't shave your head, this might not be an issue.I'll keep these as a backup to my current set, in case something breaks or I need a loaner set for a new shooter. I wouldn't hesitate to wear these at the range, just as I'm willing to go to the range with my polycarbonate sunglasses that aren't officially impact rated. However, the lens change and arm setup would keep me from making these my primary setup.Item description for reviewed item:Shooting Glasses: Shooting Eye Protection for Men and Women. Bought this because it was on sale and I needed the three lens colors. But the frame arms feel little better than the $0.99 'disposable' ones. The nose is very uncomfortable and looks like it only fits those with a very thin and high nose bridge.

These glasses were perfect for me shooting. You could see right through the lens. They were very clear. It was awesome. The different color lenses that came with it, and it came in a handy carry and felt very comfortable around my ears and they work very well.

The PROS first: this is a complete shooter glasses kit; nice protective case for all the lenses and frames. Comfortable to wear for shooting and other applicable hobbies. Good vision even with tint. The CON: switching these lenses out of the frame the first time was a doozy. Almost snapped the lenses and it took quite a few viewings of the instructional video to figure out how to do it. It’s a fine line of omg I’m going to break it to oh, that’s the amount of force that’s needed to switch the lens. So good but the switching of lenses is a bit precarious at first until you practice and get used to it.

Ok, let's get down to the concepts here. Without a doubt eye protection IS a must. Check! Next to that is improved visibility under different lighting conditions. Double Check. And this shooting eyewear kit gives you all of that with 1 eyeglass frame, and several different colored and purpose interchangeable lenses. That’s all good. The main concept beyond all that is the minimal space saving over having the same lenses each within their own frames. It obviously is not a cost factor because there are just very inexpensive plastic frames. It is that you can fit all this within a smaller carry space. The flip side to the convenience, (and there always is a flip side to things in life) is that you have to spend more of your time messing around with taking one lens out, putting it away, getting the next, and putting it into the frame as opposed to just picking up one eye-wear set (the one you need) and wearing it out of several you have with you. Always a compromise in life isn't there. But the makers make this as nice as possible for you with a very nice and small travel case where everything is condensed and protected for you. And it allows you to have everything in one spot with smallest foot print possible. Those are all pluses. And I have to compliment them on the nice little instruction sheet with link to instructional webpage. Good job on all that. You just have to decide if you are a pick up and put on kind of a person or a pick up and mess with before putting on type.
