This is a decent pallet puller, but there's room for improvement in the design. If you just lay it on the floor of the truck with the jaws almost touching the pallet, it will most likely fall off when the forklift starts pulling it. I've been holding the jaws closed until there's tension on the strap and the puller starts to grip the pallet and then jumping out of the way. To me this seems dangerous and unnecessary. If the puller had a spring to hold the jaws closed, I could pull the jaws open, place them onto the pallet with spring tension, and step away before the forklift starts pulling.
