Nice little paddle. It's technically a backup/emergency paddle but I bought it for my kids to practice while riding my board. It holds water and is hard to dry out once the kids have plunged it in the water all day. Not a problem as long as you aren't planning to pack it up immediately. Has withstanded lots of kid abuse, so I would definitely rely on it for emergency use.

I loved this product! I originally bought to use when we went out on the lake with a large floating device for adults. However, we ended up using these while we went river tubing (lazy style) yesterday! Super helpful for us to navigate the river's new look (downed trees, etc). They fit nicely into our backpack when transporting from vehicle to water!

Unfortunately, we purchased this to use during a float trip and the paddle area snapped in half about half way through an 8-mile float trip. I don't recommend unless you buy 2 so you have a back up. The plastic paddle area was too thin, I guess. Made for a very long day of using arms for paddles!

We bought these for a camping and float trip and they worked fabulously with our raft! They held up to quite a bit of abuse, including river rapids and smacking a few gravel beds. I really recommend these! They're collapsible which makes them nice for travel in that regard too.

The handles' adjustment capability meant that it worked well sitting in an inner tube and allowed for as much or as little propulsion as we wanted and easy storage while floating down the river. I'm sure it would work well for other situations as well, given the sturdy construction of the paddle. The handle twists a bit too much for my liking, but not enough to affect the use in any meaningful way.

Feels kind of cheap and light, but it gets the job done. Our kids enjoy using them to "help" when we go for a canoe ride on our lake. Makes for a good emergency paddle. I probably wouldn't use to replace our regular kayak/canoe paddle
