These have been working great so far once I remember to put them in before unloading the boat. Can be tight to install but honestly I prefer it that way knowing it won't pop out in the middle of the lake.

Works great as long as you remember to put it in before hand.

If you use your boat in saltwater, do yourself a favor and get as many of these as your boat needs. My old Mako needs 3. They do not rust up and you do not need to use Channel locks to get them in and out.

I also ordered a few flip handle plugs along with these and both are the same story. A crimp on thread piece has been used on the main bolt preventing the plug from being adequately tightened to the point of compressing the rubber plug and sealing the plug and locking it it the hole. To make matters worse, the thread ends have been pressed shut preventing a person from using a nut to replace the flimsy thread lock piece from being replaced. This plug is useless and should not be used (or sold).
