I am very pleased with this bit as it is well made and serves as a useful alternative to my collection. It is a little harsher than most bits I use but serves as a "reminder" when I'm trying to train myself to be softer with my hands and use a looser rein.

Bit came cracked at one of the bars. Feels heavy and good quality but it is cheap metal. Made in Vietnam. Would not recommend.

I think you need to have a gentle hand with this bit but it has really helped my mare to listen to me and follow directions.
