I’m new to darts, and really wanted a place to practice at home. While trying to figure out how to set up my space in my condo, this thing came up. Most of the other rugs are one piece, this thing let me set up my space exactly how I needed. The material is solid and comfortable and the measurements are accurate.

Yes is made of rubber so yes it smells for a while. I scrubbed it good with soapy water and the smell goes away over time.Measurement is perfect and protects my darts that sneak off the dartboard and fall to the floor….The little Velcro circles that connect the two parts isn’t very strong so they could move around over time. I just added more (and much stronger) Velcro.Just know that if you travel with your board and bring this mat with (like I do) it is heavy! Bit that’s a good thing too as it will stay in place longer as you walk on it.

Very high quality mat, but the smell of rubber is beyond obnoxious. I left it out in Houston TX 100 degree sunshine for a weekend to off gas before trying it out. After installing the mat, the smell was so strong and so bad I pulled it back up after three days. That was over a week ago and the entire 800 sq ft room still smells like a tire. No clue how to get the smell out of the room. Unfortunate because it is a classy looking and well built mat. I would absolutely not recommend this be used indoors.

I quite enjoy this mat, as it is rather thick. It prevents the darts from damaging my hardwood floors if they happen to fall. Additionally, it provides me with the ideal distance from the dartboard, allowing me to determine the appropriate throwing position. Furthermore, if I do not wish to cover my floor with the large black rubber mat, I can conveniently roll it up when I have guests over, effectively concealing it without leaving any holes in the floor.

Die Matte liegt nun schon seit fast einem Jahr auf dem Balkon zum ausdünsten und stinkt immer noch. Mittlerweile ist der Gummi durch die Sonneneinstrahlung gebrochen, die Matte ist absolut unbrauchbar.

I really don't give bad reviews, unless it's an awful product. This one is a good product, but it has one problem some people need to know. The rubber smell is strong, and several weeks later, it's still there.I hope the smell abates after more time, as I like it in all other ways. The darts just drop and don't bounce away, and there is no damage to them. It looks fine, is a heavy thick rubber. But the rubber smell may be a big problem for some people.

The product is great and after letting it sit in the garage for two days the rubber smell was gone prior to bringing in the house
