I know this is a duck-hunting accessories, but I got this to wear them when I clean skimmers on my pool especially in winter. I really love the rugged quality of the gloves. I can put them on even when I wear thicker jacket all the way to the shoulder so no more worry about getting the sleeves wet in winter. There’s nice warm fabric lining inside the hand part of the gloves which is great as well. I’m so pleased with the gloves.

I’m honestly not sure how I feel about these for use as intended. You could use them for decoys, but they probably wouldn’t be my first choice – especially in the type of weather where you can expect stellar duck hunting. The dexterity is there, but the insulation isn’t so I think prolonged use would lead to discomfort. For winter decoy work, I’ll stick with my insulated Sitka gloves which cost three times more, but offer more warmth and comfort. That said, these are lightweight and would be okay for early season. I didn’t actually get these for duck hunting; however, and for my purposes they are going to be absolutely perfect. I own a tract of recreational property that includes a beaverswamp which I manage for ducks. Each season I go into the swamp to plant waterfowl forage, establish duck boxes, and perform habitat work. For that purpose, these are exceptional. They’re lightweight so they’re easily packable and they roll up to the shoulder for good protection when rooting out submerged plants. I’m excited to use them and pleased with the product and price.
