It’s solid, wood & steel. It will last longer than the snow shovel will. But, then I can use it on another tool. Well worth the money.

The place where the handle is to attach to the shaft is bent making it impossible to attach unless I cut down the shaft to fit the misshapen handle or straighten it out somehow. Also, the welding on this is very sloppy and there are rough points on both the metal and wood parts. Risk of getting slivers from the wood grip as a result of the rough spots.
