Keeps water from spraying straight out. Works well, but would have been nice if little wrench they included would have been the right size. It was way too small to go over the nut.

Buyer beware. We bought a new item however received a previously used and returned item. There were wrench marks on the fitting and the Teflon tape was all but gone.

It was just right to solve a problem for us. Iām tall and my wife is short so it helps to allow for easy adjustment

Not much to say, it was easy to mount and gives my shower head more movement than it had with the factory set up. I liked it enough that I later purchased a second one.
