The filtration materials used in Tasruimu’s Filter Cartridges, KDF (kinetic degradation fluxion), and calcium sulfite, are essential materials found in quality shower filters; and the more of each, the better. The KDF redox process is certified by NSF International. Through a chemical reaction, KDF can change contaminates such as heavy metals, chlorine and hydrogen sulfide into harmless substances.Calcium sulfite has the ability to remove Chlorine and Chloramines from the water and is ubiquitous in home and industrial RO water filter systems. Most quality shower filters will contain KDF and calcium sulfite. Although not listed as an ingredient in the Tasruimu Filter Cartridges, activated carbon is another material to look for when choosing a filter. But Tasuimu’s cartridge, containing 75% KDF and the rest calcium sulfite, will provide a contaminant free shower experience, or at least that can be eliminated during the course of a shower.Those sellers marketing 15 or 20 stage filtration cartridges are relying on the “more is better” marketing paradigm. In essence, what they’re really doing is replacing effective, more expensive materials with cheaper, ineffective materials. Don’t be fooled; the two materials used in Tasruimus’ filter cartridges are far more effective than multi-stage filters containing little or no KDF or calcium sulfite.Sellers making claims of ‘20-layers of filter material,’ as if more is better, will often include a cutaway of their filter. Used as a guide for comparison, it can be seen immediately that the layers of KDF and calcium sulfite are very thin, while the rest of the cartridge is filled with 17 layers of cheaper, ineffective fluff. Don’t be fooled.

These filters fit my OEM jolie shower head perfectly ,the fitment is perfect and they work just as expected ,make sure you remember to run the water for approximately thirty seconds after you install a new filter ,these filters are a great value over the OEM priced

Original Review down below:3/5: This filter worked for about a month compared to my Jolie OEM filter and then.... hair was sticking everywhere and the water spots started forming on my shower head. Blockage started occurring where the water comes out decreasing the water pressure. Also, a black substance formed on the shower head AND a black substance from within the filter was in my tub. Let's just say I had to replace this immediately...This works but not as long as the Jolie filter. This is more of a temporary filter, but why buy a temporary one when you get a Jolie filter that lasts 3 months?-------5/5 star rating: I knew it was time to change my filter when my hair was sticking to everything and white started to form around my Jolie showerhead. To be fair... I should've replaced it a while ago, but it was getting baaaaaaaaad. This filter was so easy to install and my water feels AMAZING again. I'm not sure if it's better than my Jolie filter, but this does the trick and I am extremely satisfied.

Disappointed overall.The size is perfect, prize is better than Jolie brand charges even for their subscription and this is for a set of two, however when comparing side by side, Jolie has a fuller (heavier) filter with small grain charcoal and all to filter better and these feel like its half full and sounds like a baby rattle (grains are too big to filter all that's in my water). I don't feel that these will filter anything and not worth the money spent.
