I pieced together my own handheld and this was one of the pieces I bought separately. Love it. It hasn't made a negative impact on my water pressure. When I installed, I had to use plumber's tape on All the connection. Where the valve and main shower neck meet, I had to use another turn of tape (there was existing tape) and buy a shower head washer. I got it through amazon and it's the one with the screen mesh in the middle. Three come in pack.I also figured out, at the main shower neck, that it tightens two ways: the attached nut at the connection and the whole valve twists to tighten. You can have it super tight at neck but loose at the valve. Losen nut a little and tighten valve by twisting then re-tighten nut.
