I use these headsets at work (we have about 20 of them), and after 2 years, we only have 2 or 3 of them that aren't broken, either the plastic that holds the metal stem breaks, the cable (which is sooooooo thin) breaks, and all the foam on the earpiece and on the head-stem has completely desintegrated, leaving little black plastic/foam/rubber pieces in your ear and on your head after use. This was my biggest dissapointment with Shure so far. Do not buy this headset.

I use this for playing guitar and singing for worship as well as as monitoring my mic, my guitar, and the main mix (Rolls pm351 personal monitor station). Only thing I needed to do was extend the cable and terminate with xlr and 1/8" jack for headphone. Lightweight and comfortable. This works so much easier than straining my neck to stay close to a mic and still read music while strumming. I searched high and low for similar cable to extend with until I realized that a good USB cable is nearly identical including shielding. This leaves one ear open to allow me to hear congregation. I should have done this a long time ago.
